Access to the Digital Files

Due to the nature of the content of the files, all of which are copyrighted and most are classified as private, therefore, confidential, rigorous restrictions are in place for the access of these documents, both the hard and the digital copies.

Of the 10 collections, only the second collection under the heading of PUBLICATIONS (comprising 11 files) are made public thus readily available online.

However qualified researchers may be given access to other files at the discretion of the Provincial Superior and the Provincial Archivist after vetting thoroughly the person of the researcher and the objective of the research.

In the past, relatives of deceased confreres here and abroad, local researchers from our past mission stations, doctoral and masteral degree students whose studies had to do with CICM, and research teams from our own schools and parishes, were given permission to access the files they needed for their works.   

As all our files are copyrighted and exclusively the property of the CICM RP Province, international academic rules and standards on citations, cross-referencing and quotations, are strictly enforced and applied.
